Located at 2300 m in altitude, Val-Thorens is the highest winter sports resort in Europe with direct access to the slopes. It is part of the Three Valleys, the largest ski area in the world with 600 km of pistes linked by mechanical lifts.

Apart from alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and ski touring, there are also incredible snowshoe walks, snowmobiling, paragliding, ice rallying, ski carving lessons, freestyle skiing, and Microlighting… and even night tobogganing.

Val-Thorens also has a sports center with Aqua Club, tennis, squash, badminton, and  basketball.
